Some Other Sites I Like!

A compilation of places on the internet I really like and I think you should go explore too! I mainly found these sites while going down some rabbit holes. I hope you check these out and enjoy them as much as I do :3

Metaflora's Logo

Metaflora

If you're as much of a botany nerd as me, then I'm sure you'll have lots of fun playing Metaflora! It's a plant guessing game but the hints given to you are the taxonimcal categories of the plant. You have to figure out the plant within 25 guesses using those hints. The mystery plant updates every few days, but once you've guessed it you can go for another (practice) round. If you're more into animals then theres a zoology version called Metazooa.

MAZE Bookcover

MAZE: Solve the World's Most Challenging Puzzle!

Maze was originally a book plublished in 1985, now immotarlized into web format. Written and illustrated by Christopher Manson, it's a puzzle where you must 1. circle back from room 1 to 45 on the shortest path, 2. figure out the riddle in room 45, and 3. find the answer to the riddle along the shortest path. The illustration of each room are great examples of Liminal(-esque) spaces, the trap rooms being the most haunting.

It has a game adaptation named "Riddle of the MAZE", complete with full colour and naration. The game "Blue Prince" is also heavily inspired by this book. Get yourself lost like I have and crawl your way back to room 1 with a question and answer many don't know.

If you fall even deeper into the twists of the MAZE, check out Bill M's channel on Youtube!

Dosmaps

Nerd nourishment station right here! Dominic Walliman makes maps on several topics in science, ranging from general to quantum physics, astronomy, medicine, botany and more. They're all visually appealing and educational! (personally I use the "Map of Plants" to assist me in Metaflora). He also has a Youtube channel under the name "Domain of Science". There, he thoroughly explains the concepts in each map he has created.
